Julia is a New York City based actress with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas Christian University. She is sweet, smart, spunky, and strong, and gravitates towards roles like the class president & the all-knowing big sister— anyone who’s kind, driven, and maybe a bit dramatic. She’s also a podcast producer & Substack writer — check out Tears & Joy here!

As the daughter of a BFA-turned-MBA Mom and a nationally-recognized-oil-painter Dad, Julia’s creative style and sense of humor have developed from years of Carole King records, Jane Austen films, children’s books, art museum visits, and watching a lot of New Girl. Her favorite song ever is Here Comes The Sun, and that should tell you a lot about her personality. A few of her favorite things: cooking, hospitality, being “Aunt Julie” to a bunch of kiddos, and maximizing the amount hours in a week spent in Central Park.

Julia believes wholeheartedly in the importance of beautiful, excellent theatre and film projects because of the way they cultivate compassion and call our attention to something greater than ourselves. In addition to acting onstage and on screen, she hopes to spend her career advocating for access to the arts for everyone.

Fun Fact: Julia’s middle name is Marie, and she would happily spend the next twenty years playing Maria Von Trapp, Marian the Librarian, and Mary Poppins. (Don’t worry — she’s already covered “Marie! The baguettes! Hurry up!”)
